Our Approach
NCSA is geared towards creating versatile and all-round youths through instilling Christian moral values, building and empowering the youth to become impactful members of the community. The team is dedicated to impacting the lives of their fellow youths through various activities such as leadership trainings, reaching out to students, career guidance, talent development, mentorship sessions in schools and institutions, community meetings and workshops among others. These activities are designed to foster and strengthen the relationship between the youths. NCSA is fundamentally inclined to a peer-to-peer approach of interaction, engagement, and cooperation, giving an opportunity for the young people to learn from one another.
NCSA uses platforms such as NCSA Radio, NCSA website, Circle club and cohort system as a means through which the youth interact with each other and are followed up on by the team. It also has an Academy which is meant to impact the young learners in our community.
The activities and operations of the NCSA is guided by approaches. 5 approaches are used to help consolidate the activities and operations of the NCSA as elaborated.
Directorate Growth Approach
This approach details how the different directorates will be necessitated to plan and work towards achieving their aspirations. Deliverables, impact assessment and growth of each directorate will be monitored and will be key in the success of this approach.
Program-Based Approach
This approach details the programs that will be relevant for the growth of NCSA through recruitment, expansion and conversion of all people that will be impacted by the Association. The programs are also vital in gathering data from government, private and academic institutions for strategic planning and partnerships with different individuals and organisation.
Project-Based Approach
This approach identifies key action areas and activities that lead to the development of projects directed to realization of NCSA’s objectives.
Strategic Networks Approach
The NCSA is intending to position itself to work with national and international youth , influential stakeholders, private and public organizations, ministries to fulfill its agenda. This will be through engagements and strategic partnerships.
Cohort-Based Approach
This approach entails all activities that are to be undertaken by the cohorts. These activities include opportunity sourcing, sourcing for funding and international stakeholder and policy discussion meetings in the different spheres of influence among others.
