Mentorship Symposium

January 13, 2022 @ 8:00 am - 1:00 pm

The theme of the Session was “value of education”. This was chosen because the students had been home in the long holiday for almost a year and had now resumed school. The main intention of this session was to help the students derive value and purpose to the reason why they are in school.

The NCSA spoke about the reward of education. In this part, Simon, one of the leadership coaches in the NCSA shared life examples of how education has helped him to get to where he is. He also shared that education has helped him to build to build his career path and he has turned to be a lawyer and took him in very many parts of the country and internationally.

He also shared about goal setting as one of the most important things in life and education because it helps them to stay focused no matter they face in the journey of school. He also went ahead to tell them that they should honor their teachers highly and look up to them as well as make use of them in terms of consultation.
Simon also encouraged them to always pray in everything they do and purse because with prayer anything is possible and it can move mountains.

Lastly, he emphasized the need for the students to always have reward mentality in their education journey. He informed them that this will help them to always run a race with definiteness so that they can focus the reward in their journey.
